健康包裝時尚:由運動啟發靈感而設計的衣著不是只有在健身時才能穿

Fit into fashion, 好漂亮的雙關語! fit 是動詞,取名詞 fitness 「健身」之意,fit into fashion 既時尚, 又健康。

Don’t be surprised to see people break out of the pack this spring by wearing satin shoes in step class or reflective-foil marathon jackets at the mall. Several designers are infusing fashion into clothing and accessories that are meant for the street, but inspired by sport. The result? Multipurpose pieces that make a chic transition from running on the treadmill to running errands and maybe even fill the bill for a casual business meeting.

The lines between lifestyle and active wear have been blurring, and this spring, a number of designers are striking the balance between form and function. Thakoon created jackets for Italian brand Hogan that were inspired by the blinding silverspace blanketsmarathon runners wrap around their bodies after a race. And Sergio Rossi — known mostly for doing a sexy stiletto — has dropped the heel and made a satin sneaker for Puma in an array of pearly hues. New Balance sneakers have gotten a punch of color and more feminine detail thanks to a collaboration with Nine West.

It’s important to have pieces that you can throw on after [working out] to make you look finished,” says Jodi Guber, owner and designer of L.A.-based clothing line Beyond Yoga, which makes pants and matching ponchos in organic cotton.

Pair some black, boot-cut yoga pants with an elegant cashmere sweater and ballet flats and no one will ever know you just got out of the gym.
